Sold Secure Ratings: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond, Translated to Insurer Acceptance
Sold Secure tests bicycle locks and grades them Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond. What matters for a claim is not the tier on its own but which insurers name it as their minimum, and up to what bike value.

Tier-to-insurer acceptance
Full detail, including the exact bike-value bands and how each insurer’s requirement steps up, is maintained on cross-insurer lock requirements. The same dataset is reproduced here, framed around the rating tier rather than the insurer.
